Borneo Kebaya

I'm a big fan of Kebaya, as well as my sister in-law (Daisy) and my mother. We grab every opportunity to wear kebaya, like attending a formal event or wedding. My first kebaya was tailor-made when I was Form 3. Wow! Without realising it, this love has been growing in us for so many years.

This fondness for Kebaya motivates Daisy to start her own online Kebaya business called "Borneo Kebaya" on Facebook early this month. Eventhough it is Daisy's, my mum and I get more excited about it than her as if we were the owners :P

Borneo Kebaya offers various types of Kebaya, mainly Kebaya Sulam from Indonesia at reasonable price, as low as RM70 for a set of Kebaya cloth. Not only that, free postage is provided within Malaysia!

BUT, why Kebaya cloth instead of ready made kebaya? Kebaya is always recommended to be tailoring as it needs to be well fit to your body. Besides, by refering the purple kebaya on top, you can choose to have a knee-length kebaya blouse or shorter-length, and the sarung batik is either side cut or fan-folding at the back. It's all up to your preference! For me, I would choose to make a waist-length Kebaya so that I could match the blouse with jeans/slacks too for casual smart function or working. Oh, and also the 3/4 length sleeves (^.^)v
